Miro
is skilled at the translation of ideas into images for both print and
web based design. For over 26 years, Miro Salazar has been working as
an illustrator/graphic designer in the Bay Area. He graduated from the
College of Music and Fine Arts, Manila, Philippines, with a Bachelor’s
Degree in advertising. Working with several prestigious advertising and
design firms, Miro boasts a diversified portfolio with a client list that
includes Mandalay Bay Resort, Ghirardelli, California Cheese, San Francisco
Zoo, DFV Wines, Mondavi Wineries, Nature Company, and Pacific Bell. For
five years, Miro has also designed and improved the visitor’s brochure
for Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. His graphic designs have graced such
organizations like USS Hornet Museum, USA Classic Museum, Touro University,
Vallejo Convention & Visitor Bureau, and Vallejo Main Street. His
wide creative range has also honored him with a public art piece commissioned
by Kaiser Permanente, Vallejo, for their new hospital building. He is
proud to have been an integral part in the development of Southeast Alaska
Visitor Center, Ketchikan, a US Forest Service project that commissioned
20 of Miro’s artworks which depicted the native inhabitants, natural
resources, and wildlife of Southeast Alaska. |
